Delta Heat grills are engineered specifically for built-in installation, so the heat shielding and clearances are already sorted before it goes into your outdoor kitchen, no aftermarket enclosure guesswork. We carry all three widths and pair them with the rest of the island: side burners, storage, and the finishes to match.
If a Delta Heat grill is going into a new kitchen build, our design process is built around it. We design outdoor kitchens and supply the equipment; licensed contractors we work with install it once the plan is signed off.

Measuring for a Delta Heat build-in
Delta Heat publishes cutout dimensions for each grill it makes. Our grill inserts guide lists the Delta Heat DHBQ32 cutout at 30.5 inches wide, 19.75 inches deep, and 9.5 inches high, the figure our team checks against an existing opening before ordering a replacement grill. Clearance matters as much as the opening itself: Delta Heat's gas grill manual calls for at least 3 inches behind the grill above the cooking surface and 6 inches at the sides near noncombustible construction, with more room required near combustible material.
Fuel type matters too. Delta Heat's current gas manual says an LP grill runs on its factory-supplied regulator and hose with a 20 pound LP cylinder, and a natural-gas grill's regulator can be converted to 10 inches water column for system LP, but not for a 20 pound cylinder. If you are swapping a Delta Heat grill into an island that currently holds a different brand, or resizing an opening to fit one, read our grill inserts for outdoor kitchens guide before you come in. Bring the width, depth, and height of the opening and we can tell you fairly quickly whether the 26-inch, 32-inch, or 38-inch body will fit as is.
