The Delta Heat manual lists the DHBQ32 cutout for noncombustible construction as 30.5 inches wide, 19.75 inches deep, and 9.5 inches high. Check the model before sizing an opening. The manual gives the clearances for that grill: 3 inches behind it above the cooking surface to noncombustible construction so the hood can open, plus 6 inches at the sides above the cooking surface, recommended for the rotisserie motor and spit rod. It also requires 12 inches at the back and sides from combustible construction and says not to place the grill under overhead unprotected combustible construction. For a combustible enclosure, use the approved Delta Heat insulating jacket.

Fuel type matters too. The manual says the LP model uses its supplied regulator and hose with a 20-pound LP cylinder. The regulator on a natural-gas model is convertible to 10 inches water column for system LP, but not for a 20-pound cylinder. A qualified technician should handle gas connections.
