It has 14.29 square feet of cooking area across its two grates: a top grate and a bottom grate, both stainless steel rod that wipes clean between cooks. The tank is made of 3/16-inch plate steel, and the firebox runs one-sixteenth of an inch thicker at 1/4-inch, so the whole unit holds heat through a long overnight cook.
