Meadow Creek Gas Assist

Meadow Creek Gas Assist is a burner add-on for TS tank smokers and BX cabinet smokers that preheats the pit and lights the wood or charcoal at the flip of a switch. An electronic thermostat holds the set temperature automatically, within about five degrees, using a low-pressure regulator connected to a standard LP gas grill tank and a regular 110-volt extension cord.

What does the Meadow Creek Gas Assist option do? It gives a wood and charcoal smoker a gas-fired shortcut without giving up the fire. Preheat the pit before you load coals, light an overnight cook without standing over a chimney starter, or let the thermostat carry the pit through the hours after the coals burn down. Because Gas Assist is offered as an add-on for TS tank smokers and BX cabinet smokers, most Meadow Creek units in our catalog can be ordered with it, and the housing is weatherproof for a Sarasota patio or a trailer that lives outside.
